Michele Magazine (whose name is really “Magazine”) is a former newspaper and magazine executive, now running her own Executive Search Practice in the field of Media. As a lifelong New Yorker and lover of the city’s many cultural offerings and restaurants, she will review some of the wonderful venues that offer terrific entertainment and great food in the shadow of the greater, legacy institutions of the city. In her posts, she plans to pair some of these off-the-beaten path cultural institutions with a nearby favorite restaurant, for an evening out worth the journey.
Seija Goldstein has lived in New York City for 40 years and has no intention of ever leaving. After working full time in media and raising two wonderful children, she is now planning to sample everything that her favorite city has to offer. She will be reporting her experiences on this blog and inviting other New York City Boomers to join in the adventure.
